The activities, controls and assessment criteria in the Aircraft Noise overlay rules (refer to Overlay rules - Infrastructure section for the Aircraft Noise rules) and the Auckland-wide rules apply in the Ardmore 2 precinct unless otherwise specified below. Refer to planning maps for the location and extent of the precinct.

1.The activities in the Aircraft Noise overlay for Ardmore Airport (refer to clause 1.2 of the Aircraft Noise rules) apply in the Ardmore 2 precinct.

1.The provisions relating to the notification of resource consents in the Aircraft Noise overlay (refer to clause 2.1(b) of the Aircraft Noise rules) apply in the Ardmore 2 precinct.

1. Density: one dwelling per site.

2. Development that does not comply with clause 1 above is a non-complying activity.

1. In addition to the general matters set out in clause 2.3 of the General provisions, the council will restrict its discretion to the relevant matters specified in the Aircraft Noise overlay for Ardmore Airport and the Single House zone for the relevant development control infringement.
